Felixstowe is a seaside town on the east coast of England.
The town centre contains a street of small shops, at the end of this street the road descends a hill to the tourist beach.
The beach has a promenade and a pier with an amusement arcade.
To the north, the village of
Felixstowe Ferry has a foot ferry which carries passengers to the opposite shore.
There is also a yacht club here.
The south of Felixstowe is a major
container shipping port.
Felixstowe is connected to the road network by the beautiful
Orwell Bridge.
